Castelo de Paiva is a Portuguese town located in the northern region, in the district of Aveiro. A place with a strong connection with nature where rivers and mountains are dotted and where ancient villages stubbornly preserve secrets and knowledge. Due to its location and natural wealth, since the Palaeolithic period various people have settled here, as demonstrated by the various Megalithic or Roman monuments which are still standing.

The landscape camouflages a strong heritage of structural remnants of mineral extraction and displays with splendour endless rows of vines.
